Lobos' focus on themselves heading into week two of practice, John Tyler scrimmage
Longview, Texas (Longview News-Journal) —
As Longview enters the second week of fall drills today, Friday’s scrimmage with John Tyler won’t be the main focus.
The August 30 season opener with Coppell will be an after thought
Head coach John King said Longview will be focused on one thing: the Lobos.
“Our issues are with the Lobos,” King said. “We’re going to have to sit down and look at some things and see how we’re going to structure practice.
“The big thing is getting the Lobos better.”
TCU commit and defensive tackle Zaycoven Hendeson will be sidelined for the next 6-7 weeks with a foot injury that will require surgery today, the 6-2, 285-pound senior told the News-Journal on Sunday.
