At APEC Sports Training in Tyler, three MLB pitchers with East Texas ties are getting ready to head out to Spring Training in Arizona and Florida.

Former Whitehouse Wildcat Josh Tomlin pitches for Cleveland.

The Indians starter missed most of last year after Tommy John Surgery, but is now healthy and hopes to get back in the starting rotation.

Former Bullard Panther Nick Rumbelow was drafted by the Yankees last year.

He had seven saves and a 2.35 ERA for the Staten Island Yankees, New York's minor league affiliate.

And Carthage Bulldog Philip Humber has a minor league deal with the Oakland Athletics.

He pitched for Houston last season, and threw a perfect game for the White Sox in 2012.
