Andruw Jones took advantage of the last day of Spring Training by smashing a go-ahead solo shot in the 9th inning off of Angels Pitcher Matt Wilhite.

And Jones may have finally impressed the Rangers organization enough to stay with the team. The Fort Worth Star-Telegram is reporting that Jones has grabbed the last spot on the Texas bench. What will happen to Frank Catalanotto and his four million dollar contract is still up in the air.

Quick notes from the mound: Texas Reliever Tommy Hunter gave the Rangers a scoreless inning in relief.

Scott Fieldman is heading to the Bullpen. Kris Benson will take his spot in the starting rotation.
