Acadiana took advantage of every opportunity the Pump Jacks gave them in the fourth inning Thursday night.

The Pump Jacks, on the other hand, failed to capitalize on the opportunities presented to them.

Acadiana put up three runs on four hits and two costly fielding errors in the fourth inning en route to handing East Texas its fourth-straight loss, 4-2, at Driller Park.

East Texas put a runner on second base with one out in the first three innings but sent only sent one across in the third inning.

The Pump Jacks had their biggest chance in the bottom of the sixth, loading the bases with one out before leaving them loaded. The Cane Cutter bullpen faced three above the minimum in five of the final six innings.
