Rangers Open Season With Big Win
plus debate over red uni's
April 6, 2009 - 8:27pm
If you didn't have a chance to make it to the first game of the season today in Arlington you missed a great home opener. Texas stomped Cy Young winner Cliff Lee and beat the Indians 9-1
Notes from today:
It was very...very cold when we got to the ballpark.
Kevin Millwood allowed only one run in 7 innings. That's a great way for your number one guy to start the season. One game is a very small sample size, but after i watched him earn a strikeout and a double play to end the first inning I felt very excited about this year.
I don't like the red jerseys. I'm sorry I know there's a lot of people that really missed them but I still think the Rangers look best in Royal Blue.

No read, but could you at least photoshop your extra chin out of this picture?
