Spring Hill boys basketball coach leaving for Baylor

Tyler, TX (KETK) — KETK has confimed with Spring Hill Athletic Director Mark Sartain, Spring Hill varsity head boy's basketball coach, Hunter Taylor, has resigned and will be taking a graduate assistant coaching job at Baylor University.
Taylor, a White Oak High School alum, was an assistant basketball coach at Trinity University from 2010-2011 before taking the head coaching job at Spring Hill.
Under Taylor, the Panthers put up a 46-19 record with two playoff appearances.
Baylor, coached by Scott Drew, finished the year 23-14 and brought home the first NIT championship to Waco after beating Iowa 74-54 at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
The Bears averaged 76 points per game last season while their opponenets held a 66.4. point average.
This will be Taylor's second tenure coaching at the university level.
