Coach Gary Kubiak was so appreciative of the Texans’ efforts, he told the players to take their pads off for the last 30 minutes of Saturday’s practice.

He later said, “I think we’re ending (the first week) on a good day.”

The players will convene for meetings Sunday afternoon but won’t be back on the field until Monday morning.
