Texas Rangers to call up Longview's Chris Davis

ARLINGTON - According to the Dallas Morning News, the Texas Rangers plan to call Chris Davis up and have him for the series in New York. Davis is expected to join the team Tuesday.
The newspaper said they weren't getting much offensive production at first base recently from Hank Blalock at the plate.
Davis is hitting .335 since heading to Triple-A Oklahoma City.
