Tyler Junior College defeated Cumberland Monday night in a close 6-5 ballgame at Mike Carter Field

The Apaches scored four times in the seventh inning.

As it turned out, they needed every one of those runs.

TJC will have Tuesday off, to rest up for Wednesday's title game.

Monday's game started over two hours late because of the threat of rain, but the weather held off and TJC was able to wrap things up just after midnight.
