It was media day for the Tyler Junior College baseball team at Mike Carter field Wednesday.

KETK spoke with the team, and the new assistant coach Travis Chick.

Chick is a former Whitehouse Wildcat who spent almost a decade in the minor leagues.

He made his MLB debut with the Mariners in 2006.

Now he's taking all his baseball knowledge back home to East Texas.
