The first round of the Junior College World Series started at Mike Carter Field in Tyler Saturday.

Cody Ellerbee threw eight innings of scoreless baseball to lead Tyler Junior College to a 7-0 victory over St. Cloud Technical & Community College.

The Apaches will next play Sunday, at 4:00 PM.
