One bad half on Tuesday, and a costly injury to a key player which was diagnosed on Monday, added up to bring the end of the 2012 season for the Longview boys soccer team.

The bad half was the first, which was when Tyler Lee scored three goals for enough offense to hand Longview a 3-2 defeat in a Class 5A Region II quarterfinal at Red Raider Field. Lee jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first 22 minutes of the game.
