Suspected Marshall robber arrested

Marshall police tell KETK they have caught the man suspected of shooting and killing a store employee late last night.

Police have not yet released his identity.

Police are searching for a man accused of shooting two employees, one of them fatally, at a Marshall business during an armed robbery late Friday.

Police responded to the shooting about 10 p.m. at Domino’s Pizza in the 2100 block of Victory Drive.

The injured employees were taken to Good Shepherd Medical Center in Marshall.

Raymond Gomez, 21, of Marshall died at the hospital from his injuries, according to a police statement.

The identity and condition of the second victim had not yet been released early Saturday morning.

Marshall police say the suspect is a man about six-feet tall and 250 lbs. in his late 20s. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, black athletic-type pants with a gray stripe on the outside. He was last seen leaving on foot.

The Marshall Police Department is asking for help in identifying the suspect.
