NACOGDOCHES COUNTY, TX — DPS confirms that three people are dead in Nacogdoches County after their car hydroplaned on Highway 21 near the town of Chireno Monday evening.

It happened just after 5:00 pm. Annie Jones, 54, Armontay Woods, 12, and Anfernee Diggles, 14, all of San Augustine, were killed when the vehicle Jones was driving hydroplaned, left the road, and hit a tree.

Another passenger in the car, an 11-year-old, survived with unknown injuries and is currently in a Nacogdoches hospital.
