TEXAS--- If you do business with Allstate you may have some money coming your way.

Allstate has to pay out 71 million dollars in refunds, credits, and rate reductions.

This comes from a legal dispute with the state of Texas that dates back to 2004.

The insurance company will refund about 37 million dollars for new and renewal homeowners insurance polices written between December 2004 and April 2006 because the state said it's rates were too high.

Seven hundred thousand policy holders will be affected by this settlement.
