EAST TEXAS-- They're beautiful to look at but remember setting of fireworks is illegal in City limits.

Police say that goes for both the City of Tyler and the City of Longview.

You can not pop fireworks within five thousand feet of the city limits.

Police say anyone caught violating the ordinances could be fined and have their fireworks taken away.
