Um...all the remarks...all the trash talking about how Mizzu would kick OU in the Big XII game...what do you have to say now? What excuse can you possibly come up with?? I saw the perfect sign at the game to justify the crying from all the Longhorn fans...It was a Longhorn fan looking Oh so sad and it read. "But, But, We're Texas" GET OVER IT AND FIND ANOTHER EXCUSE....if everyone gave half the thought to other true injustices in the world...don't you think this would be a better place to live????? We ARE in the National Championship game....deal with it...there is NOTHING you can do about it other than play better football next year. I wish al Big XII teams continued success for next year...how awesome was it that so many of our teams were ranked in the top 15!!! That's a lot of talent and each coaching staff did a great job in finding these guys and put together great teams. Why can't we try to support each other? I am not suggesting that you waiver in your loyalty to your longhorns or Red Raiders... but why cheer against a team that comes from our conference when it comes to a national championship game. This just doesn't benefit OU, it benefits and speaks well of our conference!! I am a OU fanatic...but I can still be proud of another big XII team when they do well during bowl season...Yes, the BCS isn't working right and a playoff system would be better, but we didn't decide that... we had nothing to do with it...it is what it is this year!

Hey Tamara! Thanks for the explanation of the omission. It's just so frustrating to see UT fans act like this. While in OKC over the holidays I heard an interview with Coach Stoops and his remarks about the other teams in our conference was amazing. He said that he had nothing but respect for every team in our conference and was proud to be a part of a conference that had so much talent! He really is an every day hero...more so off the field as well...We (OU) didn't create the BCS rating system so for UT and Mack Brown to accuse us of doing something wrong is just beyond me...again...thanks for responding... I just wish it would have been mentioned....that was a huge factor in the computer rating....Kristi

You so freely throw words and phrases around when referring to THE UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA such as "Not Classy" "Cheater" "Not sportsmanship"??? Seriously...do you really want to go there? See, that's the problem with Longhorn fans... when the vote flows their way, it's all good and they are the "first class university" all because they do not face adversity?? Then all of a sudden, they are...let's see...."denied" the Big XII South title (decided by winning facts...not "feelings" & the tears start flowing and the whining begins! EVERYTIME!! Longhorns think that they are "entitled" to certain things and bowl apperances are just one of those things! We didn't cheat... we didn't steal... we didn't run the score up by USING OUR STARTING PLAYERS!! As a sports reporter, your facts should be accurate & honest...oh wait, you are a Longhorn fan! So, I guess it's left to the few of us Sooner Fans who are STUCK in Longhorn country to stand up and tell the truth. Better yet, let me just give you the website that states these facts in full www.soonersports.com There you will find what players played and when & how the scores were made. You will see that we didn't purposely run the score up...when you play a team that can't score with their first string offence and turns the ball over multiple times, points on the board are a certainty. Don't even begin to bag on Bob Stoops. You have not the faintet of clues what a man of integrity, loyalty, & heart he is. He does more for the entire state of Oklahoma than Mack Brown does in Austin alone. Sure, you can go ahead and drudge up the past and go back to the 70's to make yourself and your following justified in your allegations... if living in the past, justifies the present, then by all means, dwell there. Our university has transformed boys into men, we have stretched them and moved them out of a comfort zone of their own world of football to show them those who are less fortunate & encourage them to reach out. Coach Stoops has held 100% to team rules and standards and has ALWAYS disciplined accordingly, even if it meant loosing one of (or two of) our greatest players. He won't lessen his standards for a win and I would like for you to show me where he has. You say that Longhorn fans are "Classy"??? Then why have we had our OU flag ripped off our tree & house multiple times after a OU/Texas games?? Yeah, when you haven't been around class I wouldn't expect you to notice what it truly is. I am so deeply sorry that the Longhorn nation is so terribly disturbed by the BCS poll...I would think there are bigger tragedies in life!! I am proud, I am honored to be called a Sooner Fan ... for with that title goes a myriad of definative words of affirmation and good character that are required in any good fan. Oh wait! I almost forgot...you lead your broadcast tonight about the injustice that Texas has been given yet you FOLLOW that story with the state title game in which TWO Texas High Schools taunted & tried to intimidate the other with their midfeild childish antics??????? Seriously, where in the integrity in that? How can you in the same breath call us cheaters and not sportsmanship and then turn to a game that in every way exhibits the exact actions you are accusing us of being??? There is a consistency though with Longhorns and I'll give you that....when things are going your way...life is great, and when things don't go your way...the crying begins. I wish I could find a place in my heart to feel sorry for you... but, at the end of the day there can only be one true winner....THE UNIVERSITY OF OKLAHOMA!!!
