We should all be able to have free will in choosing our religion, our life’s path and our doctrine because ultimately we are responsible for the choices we make. In the end, all of us will either portray acceptable behaviors through our social interactions with others or we will be defined by our inner nature/spirit; which I feel also portrays whether our behaviors are acceptable or tolerated within our communities.

It seems whether faced with dominate religious threats- real or manufactured people here in Eat Texas simply seem to sink into mind-less situations where they start to agree/likewise disagree to anything. It’s obvious by the post I just read that some still have not learned from our past—if they had, I would not be seeing such a religious bickering/rebellion. Over what-- You’re personal religious world views as well as your personal interpretations of how religion interacts within our society?

I suppose I’m not sure how disliking others “over a religion” will ever help you become a person closer to your God. Might I suggest--Learn to embrace a better attitude toward others- try being more tolerant and give some consideration for those outside of your cultural and religious blinders. Maybe-just maybe then, you might be able to feel or experience the peace and solidarity we ALL so greatly deserve.

Mr. Trott...Role Model? You really feel our President is a good Role Model. Ya know, I campaigned for Obama, I supported him, went door to door, telephoned people....I was "on-board"...But sir, even I who was sold on Obama know when I'm told a lie...

How can you say this man is a good role model...Obama has not told the truth since day one. Do you call a liar a good role model? Moreover, people say he's a good speaker...well, no he's not...He is a good reader-that's all.

Additionally, he has applied the education of his self taught communistic ideologies, taking on past theories of Durkheim & Marxism--especially in how we punish to how we socialize society.....OH..and worst, taking on Arne Naess theory on environmental philosophies and you really this is a good role model?

    I don’t think so!.

My son graduated last year; however, it is refreshing to see the district protecting and standing up for our children, thier education, and ALL of our freedoms.Afterall, the children are the future!

Call it a networking problem-call it a problem with indoctrination...Regardless, your decision I feel is very, very wise!

    Thank you again...

This has got to be ILLEGAL...
Tax the Drinkers, Tax the Obese, Start Taxing Churches...I fear all these taxes on top of taxes will only cause a Revolution...Americans will not take this too much longer...

Absolutely Not! Mandatory Evacuation is to protect the majority. Well, what if you have been preparing yourself, your family, and loved ones to be self sufficient, should an emergency arise. Should I feel I can be protected better than I can protect myself--I think not! Of course as always..there are many who simply act as "sheep" and if told to leave their home, possessions, and valuables..they will. I for one, hope that I will not have too... Mainly because I feel I have already been mandated with the "GET READY.GOV instructions, and other sites, to have already planned and prepared ahead of time for such emergencies that might require evacuations… I feel Americans are fools not too have headed the Get Ready Warning!

YEA...It's about time they start adressing obesity.

With this new Health-Care Reform they should TAX, Tax, Tax the heck out of those overweight..After all they are now becomming a bigger burden for America than the Smoker....

HA-- Seems to me like a Slippery Slope--Here you got all these "non-cough,cough, smokers out there" wanting to tax the Smoker for there "PERSONAL CHOICES"...Now, the tables have turned.. I do hope those overweight in America can deal with the monster they created.

    Eng, you are my Hero!!!

Thank you..This city has needed our traffic lights "sync'd" for years.

We have been told over and over; "the light are sync'd; however, for those of us who drive in Tyler- we know this is not accurate. I think I speak for everyone when I say, "We are grateful to you for seeing this project finally started and accomplished".

    Thank you again.

OK..As much of a complete misuse of goverment it would be I say...SURE! Micheal Jackson was one something in history that gave to all of us. Just as Jefferson, MLK, Kennedy, Elvis,Bill Gates, or Obama.

They all contributed to the world in different ways but yet it changed the world in so many ways for generations to come, and for the better. For this reason, and the significant musical and dance, and good contributions that were so unique for decades to so many, I say SURE!

Since so many could not honor him in life I feel we should at least do this in death.

With the hypocrisy amongst Christians I must say I personally have decided I have more Christianity than most Christians.
If anyone has to tell you there a Christian--run for the hills. Nevertheless, I imagine most feel preachers work for God--I disagree-they work for the community.

Preachers must be a therapist to each and every member. They are stuck listening to all of the congregations money problems, relationship problems or whatever troubles someone. For this- I feel it's worth whatever they feel like charging or taking from the basket!

Overall then I would say "no" is is not immoral for someone who plays financial advisor, spiritual leader, therapist, doctor or whatever hundreds possibly thousands might need to pay themselves what they feel thier worth.

    Hi Ricky..

I agree...I thought that maybe we could sell or auction off California to China for our debt, and then call it even.. Just think we would have no debt, and China would have a great deal with the added bonus of getting Fienstein, Pelosi, and the Governator--and so many more good quality folks!

    Hello Sedary:

I could not agree more. Here is some food for thought, and YES..I truly believe all this is tied in.. Let me know your thoughts.

Just Imagine..Could it possibly be that very soon you will not hear of the Global Warming--Which is currently why we need these small, unsafe, tiny cars, now. Could Global Warming be a scam and been created to serve its purpose for the time being and very soon this phrase will need or get a new name all to "SELL" to the people...that would be "us Americans and others globally".

What if it was possible to tweak the image of this worn out name and change it to maybe something that people desired or longed for ..Like A JOB? Perhaps, we could call it Renewable Energy, but maybe not that Is still not sellable..What about calling it Green Growth for Green Jobs. So could we so hear a new re-package name for Global Warming (which created most of this mess and money scam)

What about Renewable Energy by rephrasing it to Green Growth and then promise millions of jobs..Yes, that sounds awesome. I would buy into that. This may mean billions or trillions of new dollars for this NEW idea..which is only the same old global warming scam simply repackaged into a new politically correct name.

Now, even better..Or more scary rather...Could Population control be packaged into this as well somehow. Think about it….If CO2 gases are environmentally deplorable, then would "us" humans exhaling cause more environmental damage? Just last week cow farts were seen as enviromentally dangerous... Could people be convinced like by the thoughts of Arne Naess and deep ecologists that if there were less humans exhaling C02 gases that we might possibly just be able to "save the planet."?

And just think it's all starting by these itty bitty cars we might all be forced to buy-into.

    Any thoughts?

Well. I think, the good 'ol fashist goverment we have now can come pry my big a** gas guzzling car from my hands when I am dead. It will be over my dead body I give up my rights to "choose" what car I drive, it's size, and the mpg it takes to push it along.. Who they think thier kidding.

Think the president is turning in his Limo for a Urkle-Car? Think Pelosi will start driving acrosss country in a Chevy Volt? Well until they do...Im keeping car.

    Finally, some common sense.

I Agree 100%...Neither..Both Dem and Rep are vertical from each other; therefore, nothing gets done..Were in a rut. The True Republic system as it supposed to be is meant to be more on a horizontal scale with our Republic (Freedom) in the middle..

    We have lost this.

Let's start with the definition of "IMMINENT"...It means: About to occur; Impending Danger. I had seen the Trades Day woman with her can of Lysol..Is she STUPID, who is she protecting, and against what? The H1N1 Virus Strain is not killed by Lysol. If it was, that would be an easy solution, and the virus would not be spreading.

The CDC is taking 7-10 days, up to 1-month, in order to process swabs for the H1N1 virus. While we Americans simply ignore the "level-5 alert" that this virus is IMMINENT, East Texas seem to take the stand and choose to spread this virus instead of heading the warnings and taking extreme precautions.

Also, another thing...This virus can stay dormant for up to 10 days in someone before they actually show symptoms, meanwhile they spread this virus all over to others.

The fact the Trades day'rs are not worried, and goes on, business as usual, simply shows how ignorant they really are.
