Rachel Hackbarth joined the KETK News team as a reporter in February 2013.

As a native East Texan, Rachel is excited to start her career in her hometown of Tyler, Texas.

Rachel's first on-air appearance was right here on ‘East Texas Live’ in the summer of 2012. Our own Miss Tyler USA came to talk about her upcoming competition in the Miss Texas USA 2013 pageant.

Now you can find Rachel here every week on KETK, telling those stories that really matter to her fellow East Texans.

Rachel graduated from the University of Texas at Tyler with a B.S. in Journalism and minor in Entrepreneurship.

In her free time, Rachel loves to travel, go to concerts and spend time with her family and Shih Tzu, Tiny Dog.
