Teresa Sardina Reporter/Anchor
Teresa Sardina joined the KETK news team in July 2012 as a reporter and fill-in anchor.
She grew up in San Diego, California. Teresa graduated from California State University- Fullerton with a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication-Broadcast Journalism.
While in college, Teresa was a hands-on student in her broadcast program. She was a reporter, host, anchor, producer and writer for the Daily Titan “DTin3” campus web channel, OC News, Titan Internet Radio and Titan-TV.
Before moving to East Texas, Teresa gained newsroom experience at KUSI-TV in San Diego and NBC Los Angeles as an intern, production assistant and field-producer. While at NBC Los Angeles, she was honored to be part launch of the new show “California Nonstop”, conducting and coordinating interviews.
Teresa is an active member of SPJ- Society of Professional Journalists, NAHJ-National Association of Hispanic Journalists and RTNDA-Radio Television Digital News Association.
Off camera, Teresa enjoys watching sports, traveling, running, cooking, spending time with friends and family, exploring East Texas, meeting new people, and keeping up with local and entertainment news.
