Sunshine Returns...No Rain in Sight!!!

April 19, 2009 - 7:46am

Rain totals over the past two days have amounted to 2.5 to 3.0 inches on average, though it was much less around to the northwest with Sulphur Springs only receiving 0.99 inches. Some areas received over 4.0 inches with Fairmont getting 4.25 inches and Payne Springs with 5.0 inches.

With a ridge of high pressure moving in, that will help to keep things clear and dry for the next several days. We'll start out cool beginning this week, but by midweek temperatures will be reaching near 80 degrees. By the end of the week, the humidity levels will be much higher, but still no rain only a few clouds.
