Strong Scattered Storms this Evening...
**Scattered heavy showers and thunderstorms will continue to move from west to east across the Tyler - Longview area and the rest of East Texas during the next few hours. Most of the storms will not be severe but some will produce gusty winds in excess of 60 mph, up to nickel-size hail and rain that is heavy enough to cause some street flooding, especially in Angelina, Nacogdoches, San Augustine and Sabine counties.**

A few areas will receive rain that is heavy enough to cause some brief street flooding...Low temperature near 70 in the north, 79 in the south. Winds becoming NNE 5-15 mph, but variable and gusty near thunderstorms.
MONDAY: Showers and thundestorms ending during the morning (40%), otherwise variable cloudiness and rather mild for this time of year. A few isolated afternoon storms are a slight possibility towards the southern counties. Highs near 91. Winds N 5-10 mph.
