SUNNY, WARMER CONDITIONS BY MONDAY
March 15, 2009 - 7:52am
**Flood Warning for the Sabine River, especially near Mineola; the Neches River especially near Neches; the Attoyac Bayou, especially near Chireno; and the Ayish Bayou especially near San Augustine until Sunday evening.**
Temperatures will slowly moderate reaching to near 60 today, despite mostly cloudy skies. However, much nicer weather is likely by Monday afternoon as southerly winds finally increase enough to mix the atmosphere up enough to break the cloud deck. The combination of sunshine and southerly winds will mean high temperatures should jump into the mid-70s by late Monday afternoon and continue in the upper-70s through Wednesday. A weak cold front may bring temperatues down a bit on Thursday and Friday, but a return of really cold weather is not likely.
