What a day it has been for our area!! Once the rain started very early Wednesday morning, questions were raised about if we would see any snow fall from the sky.

On Thursday, the models indicated a cold rain for East Texas for President’s Day. A problem with forecast models is how they handle a cold airmass.

Major weather changes for 2nd half of February

Well, if you are a fan of colder temperatures (what a typical winter is usually like), you are going to love the forecast we have next week! We even have a chance of wintry weather on Tuesday.

Warmer weather returns, as do the changing temperatures!

From a monthly perspective, our average temperatures over the last few months have been like a rollercoaster! October & December both were relatively warm months as temperatures were near 4 degrees above normal.
