Sabine County, Tx — A 74-year-old woman was killed in the Thursday morning storms that rolled through East Texas, according to the Sabine County Sheriff's Department.

The woman has been identified as Louise Stringer. She was killed when a tree fell onto her mobile home on the 320 block of W Strickland Cross Road, according to Sheriff Thomas Maddox.

A National Weather Service report shows several homes in the area were damaged and a second person injured. The severity of their injury is unknown.
